Abstract: 

Sonoma Valley is a watershed of approximately 166 square miles (60% freshwater and 40% tidally influenced) that discharges into San Pablo Bay. It is located roughly 230 miles northeast of San Francisco in Sonoma County and includes the City of Sonoma and the towns of Schellville, Boyes Hot Springs, Glen Ellen, and Kenwood. Its most famous export today is wine. The watershed ranges in elevation from sea level to the peak of Bald Mountain at 2739 feet.
