NLCD 2001 is a Landsat-based landcover database with several independent data layers, which allow users a wide variety of potential applications. NLCD 2001 products include 21 classes of Land Cover, Percent Tree Canopy and Percent Urban Imperviousness at 30 m cell resolution.
As of 2008, products are available for the conterminous United States.
